Bill Burton Bsc PT., F.C.A.M.T., Dip Manip. P.T.

Principal Physiotherapist

 

Bill is a 1983 graduate of the University of Alberta. After graduation he worked in a number of public and private settings in Edmonton until 1990 and then immigrated to Australia to study for his masters certificate in Perth, W.A. Bill moved back to Canada and settled in Kelowna in 1994. During this time he has become a certified Orthopaedic instructor, a certified IMS practioner and has owned a number of private clinics. He received his graduate diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy in 1995. Over the years Bill has also worked, studied and taught in France, Africa, and most of the Australian states.  Bill is married to Dawn, the clinic’s office manager, and they have three children.  Bill stays active playing soccer, rugby, golf, hockey, downhill skiing and cycling. 

Ross McKinnon, BPT, FCAMT

Principal Physiotherapist

 

Ross is a 1995 graduate of the University of Manitoba.  After graduation Ross continued to study and work in Georgia, USA, at a clinic renowned for treatment of patients, including professional athletes such as PGA golfers, and specializating in spinal rehabilitation.  Ross returned to Canada in 2000 to work at Rutland Physical Therapy and continue his studies.  Ross completed his post graduate Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association in 2005.  In the fall of 2006, Ross joined the Kelowna Manual Therapy Centre as a partner.  Ross has a special interest in treating spinal conditions through manual therapy and specific exercise.  Ross is married with two sons.  Ross is active with cycling, cross country skiing, hiking and golf.

Kate Coey, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

 

Kate is a 2002 graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria.  Since graduating, Kate has studied fitness theory, physiology and aquanetics as part of her continuing education and continues to educate herself on new techniques and therapies to benefit her patients.  Kate also spent three years at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, in Victoria, instructing and supervising students in human anatomy, hydrotherapy, and massage therapy techniques.  Kate is passionate about health and well being for the entire family.  She enjoys hiking, skiing, and travel.
